Accident Investigators Stakeholder Meeting

Location: Mariner Suite (Second Floor)

Attendance at the Accident Investigator Stakeholder meeting is strictly confined to delegates from Accident Investigator bodies and any other interested parties involved in accident investigations.

There is a practice of holding a meeting of delegates from International Railway Accident Investigator bodies before the main conference.

Whatever country we are based in, we can learn from each other’s experiences, and this Stakeholder Meeting will also enable attendees to meet fellow accident investigators before the formal sessions commence.

Attendance at the Investigators Stakeholder meeting is strictly confined to members of Accident Investigation bodies. The meeting is to facilitate open discussion in a confidential environment between people with a common role in this particular aspect of the railway sector. It provides a forum for discussion on topics relevant to railway accident investigation and facilitates the sharing of ideas, experiences, lessons learned and developments.


Safety Regulators Stakeholder Meeting

Attendance at the Safety Regulators Stakeholder meeting is strictly confined to delegates from Safety Regulatory bodies.

There is a practice of holding a meeting of delegates from Safety Regulation bodies before the main conference commences.

Irrespective of our jurisdiction, we can learn from each other’s experiences, and this Stakeholder Meeting will also enable attendees to meet others who are involved in safety regulation prior to the formal proceedings.

The confidential nature of this meeting is designed to facilitate open discussion in a between people with a common role in railway regulation on relevant topics, and facilitates the sharing of ideas, experiences, lessons learned and developments in railway safety regulation.


Operators Stakeholder Meeting

Location: Martello 1 Suite (First Floor)

Attendance at the Operators Stakeholder meeting is strictly confined to delegates that are operator stakeholders.

There is a practice of holding an informal meeting of the International Railway Operator delegates before the IRSC.

Many of us are facing similar issues, whatever country we work in, and can learn from each other. The meeting will also enable attendees to meet fellow railway operators before the main conference starts to help networking.
The Operators Stakeholders meeting is open to members of train operating companies and Infrastructure Managers to attend. The meeting is to facilitate some early networking between people with a common role in the industry and facilitate the sharing of ideas, experiences, lessons learned and developments in safety for railway operators and infrastructure managers. It also provides a forum for discussion on topics relevant to operating and maintaining the railway.


Industry Stakeholder Group Meeting

Attendance at the Stakeholder group meeting is strictly confined to delegates that are stakeholders.

There is a practice of holding a meeting of delegates from Consultancy organisations, manufacturing and maintenance companies etc before the main conference commences. This Stakeholder Meeting will also enable attendees to meet fellow delegates before the formal sessions commence.

The meeting is to facilitate open discussion in a confidential environment between people with a common role in this particular aspect of the railway sector. It provides a forum for discussion on topics relevant to railway safety and facilitates the sharing of ideas, experiences, lessons learned and developments.
